Kit Sebastian x Psychedelic Porn Funk

Kit Sebastian draws inspiration from various genres and parts of the world. Anatolian psychedelia plays a role, as well as Brazilian tropicalismo, jazz, and British psych-pop. The duo describes their music as „Anatolian Lo-Fi Samba.“ Their lyrics are sung in Turkish, English, and French. Kit Sebastian’s instrumentation includes guitar, bass, drums, and analog synthesizers, as well as oud, tabla, darbuka, and balalaika. The musicians are fans of the British label Mr Bongo, which specializes in Latin American music. In 2018, they sent a demo to Mr Bongo, which led to the release of „Mantra Moderne“ in 2019.
